Voted for it before he voted against it

This Week Burnsville

To the editor:

Rep. Will Morgan voted with the majority of his Democratic colleagues on April 22, 2009 to eliminate our property tax and mortgage interest deductions as recorded in the Minnesota Journal of the House at . In a later version of the tax bill Rep. Morgan reversed his first vote. The residents of Burnsville deserve to know he first voted for the elimination of these deductions, before he voted against them. I stand by my press release which stated, “While we worried about paying our mortgages, incumbent Rep. Will Morgan and his Democratic colleagues tried to eliminate our mortgage interest and property tax deductions.” I am running for State Representative of House District 40A to stand with you, the residents of Burnsville.
