MYHRA SWEARS-IN MINNESOTA YOUTH COUNCIL
ST. PAUL – On Monday, September 16, Rep. Pam Myhra (R-Burnsville) led the swearing-in of new and returning members to the Minnesota Youth Council (MYC) in the Capitol Rotunda. The MYC, tasked with collaboratively identifying and addressing issues relating to youth, consists of four youth and four adult members from each of Minnesota’s eight congressional districts, as well as four youth and four adult members selected to serve at large.
Myhra also addressed the MYC membership saying, “I commend you for your desire to serve others. I encourage you to listen to understand and to show respect to all. And I challenge you to give your very best effort in your service.”
“I am grateful for the opportunity to serve as legislative liaison between the Legislature and the Minnesota Youth Council and I am eager to listen to their advice and recommendations on issues affecting youth,” Myhra said.
