Representative Pam Myhra Endorsed by State’s Leading Small Business Group

ST. PAUL, Minn., Sept. 26, 2012—The state’s largest small business association, the National Federation of Independent Business, today announced that State Representative Pam Myhra (Burnsville) has been endorsed by NFIB’s political action committee, the NFIB/MN SAFE Trust.

The National Federation of Independent Business has more than 12,ooo members in Minnesota, making it the largest business group in terms of entities. “Representative Myhra is a strong supporter of small business, and had a perfect 100% score on the 2011–12 NFIB voting record,” said State Director Mike Hickey. “In her legislative race Representative Myhra is clearly the best candidate for small business.”

“Representative Myhra made many votes in support of small business during the recent 2011–12 legislative session, including voting for critical tax reductions and reforms to make Minnesota more competitive and also supporting four major tort reform bills to reduce lawsuit abuse. She also supported a critical measure that required the legislature to review and approve new rules and regulations that are burdensome and expensive for small business to comply with before they go into effect. Representative Myhra is a real friend of small business, and we are happy to announce her endorsement.”
