Local Legislative Candidate To Be Highlighted At “Rising Stars” Event

State House candidate Pam Myhra selected to participate in event for highly regarded candidates

BURNSVILLE — Local legislative candidate Pam Myhra will be highlighted at a “Rising Stars” event on Thursday, January 28 in St. Paul. Myhra is a Republican candidate for State House District 40A, which is comprised of central and western Burnsville and the northeastern section of Savage.

The “Rising Stars” program is modeled after the congressional Republican “Young Guns” program and is designed to bring early attention to some of the best candidates running for the legislature in this November’s election. Only 15 candidates for State House or Senate were selected to be part of the program.

“I am honored to be part of the “Rising Stars” program and I am thrilled with the strong show of support from supporters, donors, and volunteers, alike. I am running for State Representative of House District 40A to advocate for responsible government, the promotion of jobs, and protection of family incomes,” stated Myhra.

The “Rising Stars” event will be on Thursday, January 28, 4:30-7:30 p.m. at O’Gara’s Bar and Grill in St. Paul. House Republican Leader Rep. Kurt Zellers (R-Maple Grove) will be in attendance.
